I don’t know if you remember that Coke commercial with Cindy Crawford, but I was too young to catch the sexual innuendo. What I did clock was her glorious hair. And that’s when I realized what an impact your tresses can have. Little baby Kristine was gobsmacked.

From my Manic Panic pink punk phase to an ill-advised all-black pixie cut, I’ve explored all the ways hair can change the way people see you.

These days, I take a more subtle approach, but I’m still all about exploring the ways that blending your grays with some foils, covering your roots with dimensional color, or hand-painting blonde to add some low-maintenance brightness can change the way you feel about yourself.
